Questions your Prospects Ask

February 3rd, 2010

It is key to make your network marketing business as duplicatable as possible. And the less you have to talk, the more duplicatable it gets. The ability to use the Success In 10 Steps ebook and just point to sections that answer certain questions or to sections that would be valuable to people makes your life a lot simpler.

The format of the ebook has been very successful. It’s had over 107,000 downloads in the past 4 years. A lot of people have used STS to generate leads and build an MLM business. It is set up to make it easy for people to do network marketing. You don’t have to be an expert at anything. You hardly even need to be able to answer any questions.

We know the 3 questions people most ask when they’re looking for a business:

1. Is this something I can do?
2. Can I make money at it?
3. Can you help me?

For them to answer question #1 positively, the business has to be really simple. And it’s important to show them that it’s going to be simple for them to give this system to the people they bring into the business.

They may not be thinking that far ahead. But as soon as you point out to them that they have to be able to give THEIR prospects a simple system or their business will not duplicate, they know that is true.

On page 10 of STS, Michael Dlouhy talks about the 100 MLM companies that he joined. It’s a good story that can answer several different questions.

Most of the people who download the STS ebook are people who have already been in network marketing, but who have struggled with the business. They’re looking for answers. They don’t know why they haven’t been successful. They know it’s not because somebody else is smarter than they are. They are frustrated.

So Michael joining 100 different MLM businesses to kind of get an idea of how the whole thing works resonates with them. It makes sense to do that. And it helps give your prospect some background that helps them see all the value they can possibly get from reading this ebook.

Page 10 is definitely one of the sections I would point out to prospects. Again, when you only need to point someone to a page in the book to answer their questions and gain credibility, it becomes obvious that this is a very easy business to do.

Success MLM Tip ~Read your Policies and Procedures

January 12th, 2010

I’m sure you’ve signed up for something and checked the little box that says you agree before they let you click that last button to proceed many times.

You’ll be amazed at what you find in your own Policies and Procedures, the legal contract between you and your MLM company.
In MLM / Network Marketing, that box you check usually says something like this, “I have read, understand and agree to the Terms of Agreement, the Policies and Procedures, and the Compensation Plan.”
Wow! You just agreed to a lot of stuff and if you are like most people, you didn’t even read it. You don’t even know what they are. Isn’t that interesting…
We read contracts and agreements everywhere else in our lives, so why don’t we read them before we sign up online?
If there is just one phrase or one word that you do not understand, DO NOT SIGN! This is not a hobby you are starting. This is a serious business and should be treated seriously.

If you were buying a business that cost you thousands of dollars, would you read the contract or maybe have an attorney read it? Of course you would. But you get into your little business for very little money so it isn’t necessary. Really?

Here is a Real example:

This is a major company, name changed to [company] to protect the criminals. What a deal.
10.3. AGREEMENT TERMINABLE AT WILL
You may terminate your relationship with [company] at any time by providing a signed written notice to [company]. [Company] may also terminate the relationship with you (including any partnerships, corporations or other entity) at any time by providing written notice. You or [company] are not required to have any reason, nor do you or [company] have to claim or prove any cause to terminate this relationship. If and when the relationship is terminated, you shall have no claim against [company] nor any right to claim or collect lost profits, lost opportunities or any other damages. Termination will result in the loss of all benefits as an [company] Independent Consultant.

Imagine that every phrase in the contract you signed can and will be used against you, because that is what will happen.
If you are thinking, “Oh! They wouldn’t do this to me.” Ask yourself, “Why did they put it in the P&P if they weren’t planning to use it?”

The good news is that there is help to keep you out of this situation.
To learn more about how to protect yourself, start with Success In Ten Steps by Michael Dlouhy.                                                                            It will save you years of failure and frustration.

How To Avoid Scams

November 10th, 2009

See full size image

I will share a tip that could keep You out of trouble by keeping You
out of 100% of all the Scams that call themselves
a Network Marketing Business Opportunity.

We are NOT talking about a McDonalds franchise,
stocks, bonds, life insurance, trading in currency,
we are talking about Network Marketing.

You cannot “pay” money to Own a Business. Let
me explain this so everybody can get this “Fact”.

When You pay say, $99.00, $199.00, $299.00 or
$399.00 or even $499.00 to join a business,, You
MUST receive Something of value that You would
buy without the business opportunity attached to it.

They may try to call it a Franchise Fee or maybe
a Training Fee or a Train the Trainer Fee this is all
100% “Illegal” and will put You in big trouble.

Take a look at Most Illegal Programs. You pay say
$399.00 to be a distributor and all You get for Your
money spent is a web-site and the opportunity to do
the same “to” other people.

They have a “Hard Cost” of say $25.00 for the web-
site, they pay $350.00 of Your CASH to the up-line
that recruited You into the illegal deal.

You cannot make money sponsoring someone in
the business……The NEW person MUST receive
Something of value for their CASH spent.

No Retail able product “NO” business opportunity.
